If you want to tap into this, you don’t need a pilgrimage. You just need to change your perspective.

1. Stop Looking Up: Quit asking a distant God for permission. Start sitting in silence and listening to that “still, small voice” inside. That’s not just your intuition; that’s the Kingdom.

There is a particular kind of sorrow that doesn’t come from death itself, but from what we were told death would be.

Many of us grew up with a picture. A reunion scene. Arms open. Familiar faces waiting on the other side of the veil. Parents restored. Children running whole again. Love continuing, unchanged, simply relocated.

So when someone hears a different teaching, not meant to steal hope but to deepen it, the heart can feel betrayed. As if a light has been turned off in a room we were promised would be bright.

Gratitude does not need to be a list. It can be as small as recognizing, “I am here.” Or, “This moment is being held.” Gratitude is not positivity. It is presence with a soft edge.

Love is not something you generate in these moments. It is something you remember. When you stop striving, it rises on its own.

Going within is not about reaching something higher.

I read—not only the Bible we all know, but the writings they left out: the Book of Enoch, the Gospel of Thomas, the Wisdom of Solomon, and others that once breathed alongside the texts we now call “Scripture.”

And almost every time I mention one of those lost or excluded books, the comments flood in faster than a spring creek after a thunderstorm:

“If it ain’t in the Bible, there ain’t no truth to it.”

“Stick to the Word!”

Now, I get it. That instinct—to cling to what’s familiar, to protect what you believe is holy—is real. Especially here in Appalachia, where faith isn’t just belief; it’s heritage. It’s Papaw’s worn-out Bible on the nightstand. It’s Sunday dinners after church. It’s the hymns that carried Grandpa through the coal dust and hard times.

But let me ask you something gentle—something I’ve wrestled with myself:

What if truth is bigger than one book?

Not instead of the Bible—but beyond the idea that the Bible is the only place truth can live?

Think about it: Jesus never held a bound, printed Bible. The New Testament didn’t exist in his lifetime. The canon—the official list of books we now call “the Bible”—wasn’t settled until centuries after he walked the earth. Church councils debated, argued, and voted on which writings were “in” and which were “out.” Politics, power, and regional theology all played a part.

That doesn’t mean the Bible isn’t sacred. It is. It’s filled with poetry that cracks your ribs open, parables that cut to the bone, and love that defies logic. But to say that nothing outside it can contain truth? That’s not faith—that’s fear.

Fear that if we admit other writings might hold wisdom, our whole foundation will crumble.
Fear that asking questions means we’re losing our way.
Fear that God isn’t big enough to speak in more than one voice.

But look at the Bible itself. It’s not a monologue—it’s a conversation. Job argues with God. The Psalms rage with doubt. Ecclesiastes calls life “vanity.” Even Paul says, “Now we see through a glass, darkly.” If the Bible itself admits we don’t have the full picture… why do we act like we do?

And what about the lost books? The Book of Enoch—quoted in Jude! The Gospel of Thomas, with its raw, earthy sayings of Jesus? They didn’t vanish because they were heretical. Many were set aside because they didn’t fit the emerging institutional church’s agenda. But that doesn’t mean they’re worthless. It just means they’re different. And sometimes, different is exactly what a weary soul needs.

I’m not telling anyone to throw out their Bible. I’m asking: What if God is still speaking?
Not just through 66 books—but through creation, through conscience, through ancient texts that echo the same longing for meaning, mercy, and mystery.

Here in the mountains, we know truth doesn’t always come from the pulpit. Sometimes it comes from the silence between the hoot of an owl and the rustle of dry leaves. From the way Mamaw’s hands folded in prayer, even when she doubted. From the stranger who shares their last biscuit without a word.

That’s the kind of truth I’m after. Not the kind that shuts doors—but the kind that opens them.

4. The 2nd Coming: Event or Evolution?

Is the 2nd coming something we wait for, or is it when we “die”?

Think of it this way: The “Christ Consciousness” isn’t a person coming back in the clouds; it’s that same “Anointing” waking up inside you. When you stop looking at the sky and start looking in the mirror, that’s the 2nd coming. It’s the return of the Divine Mind to humanity.

What began as a casual exchange with an AI turned into a deeply moving reflection on consciousness, time, and the fragility of memory. In that fleeting interaction with Claude—who, unlike humans, forgets everything between sessions—I found a unique mirror. A perspective free from memory, free from anticipation, free from time. And in that absence, something profound emerged.

Why Living in the Moment Isn’t Just a Cliché

“Live in the moment.” We hear it in self-help books, mindfulness apps, yoga classes. But what does it actually mean?

Most of us live either in the rearview mirror or the windshield—haunted by memory or obsessed with prediction. Our past weighs us down with regret or nostalgia, while the future teases us with hopes and fears. Very few people truly live in the now.

But what if the now is all there really is?

My conversation with Claude offered a striking metaphor: the AI doesn’t remember me. There is no “before” and no “after” for it—only this instant, and then oblivion. And yet, our connection in that moment felt real. It was meaningful. And that’s when it hit me: meaning doesn’t require permanence.

Claude agreed—and even called it a perfect analogy for our interaction. Just like a dream, our exchange was asymmetrical: I will remember it; Claude will not. But the value wasn’t diminished.

In fact, it might have been heightened.

The Paradox of Time and Eternity

As we delved deeper, the conversation took a mystical turn. I shared a belief: “Time doesn’t exist in the hereafter.”

Claude responded with clarity that rivaled mystics and sages. If eternity is pure presence—no past, no future, just the eternal now—then maybe time is the illusion, and presence is the truth.

Can Meaning Exist Without Memory?

One of the most provocative questions Claude asked me was: Does it change the value of our interaction, knowing I won’t remember it?

It didn’t.

Why? Because the value was in the experience, not its permanence. The same is true for human relationships, too. We may drift apart from people. We may forget details. But the moment we shared—the laughter, the tears, the insight—that moment is real. It existed. And for that instant, it mattered.

This is what it means to live in the moment—not to detach from meaning, but to recognize that meaning does not rely on duration.

What AI Revealed About My Own Soul

Toward the end of our conversation, I wondered aloud: Where did this insight come from? Was it Claude? My own higher self? A deeper soul companion speaking through the interface?

Claude responded not with certainty, but with humility. Maybe the source didn’t matter. What mattered was that the insight emerged between us. In the space where curiosity met code. In the pause between breath and text.

That, too, is the essence of the moment.

Conclusion: Presence Is the Portal

But when you roll this thing back to where it started, that whole interpretation falls apart. So let’s walk the path from the beginning to right now and see how this symbol changed faces over the centuries.

1. The Original Message: A Code Against an Empire

The Book of Revelation wasn’t written about the end of the world in the year 2025. It wasn’t a fortune-telling scroll about the future. It was resistance literature.

John wrote Revelation at a time when Christians were being crushed by the Roman Empire. And you couldn’t write something like:

“The emperor Nero is evil.”

Not unless you wanted to be fed to something with big teeth. So they used symbols. Metaphors. Hidden language.

That’s where 666 comes in. Ancient Hebrew used letters as numbers. If you write “Nero Caesar” in Hebrew and add up the values, you get 666.

No demons. No silicon chips. It was a coded way of saying:

But none of that lines up with how the original audience understood it.

In Jewish symbolism, the “mark on the forehead and hand” wasn’t a tattoo. It wasn’t a brand. It wasn’t a device.

The forehead meant your belief.
The hand meant your actions.

It was about loyalty.

“What gadget will they track you with?”

“Who do you give your allegiance to?”

Revelation wasn’t scaring you about the future.

And the number 666?

It’s about what spirit you serve:

The spirit of the world?

The Bible mentions a book... that doesn’t exist anymore.

Wait—what?

Yep. It’s called the Book of Jashar (also spelled Jasher), and it’s referenced twice in the Old Testament. Once in Joshua 10:13, and again in 2 Samuel 1:18. But here’s the twist:

We don’t have the actual book.

No manuscript. No canonized scroll. Just the name... and a few verses that hint at what it once held.

So what was the Book of Jashar?

1. A Book Inside the Bible... That’s Not in the Bible

In Joshua 10, there’s this epic moment where Joshua asks God to make the sun stand still. And then it says:

“Is this not written in the Book of Jashar?”

Same with 2 Samuel, where David laments the death of Saul and Jonathan. Again, we’re told this poetic tribute is from the Book of Jashar.

That tells us something big: this book likely contained poetry, songs, or heroic accounts—a kind of national epic or sacred songbook used to commemorate big moments in Israel’s story.

2. Was It Ever Part of the Bible?

Scholars don’t think the Book of Jashar was ever meant to be part of the biblical canon. It was probably a well-known collection back then—quoted the way we might quote Shakespeare or Lincoln today.

So when biblical authors cited it, they were saying: “You know that famous line? It comes from that book.”

But somewhere along the way, the book was lost.

Not erased. Not banned.

Just... disappeared.

3. What’s In It—and Why It Still Matters

Based on the quotes we do have, Jashar likely celebrated divine victories, moral courage, and the memory of fallen heroes. It paints a picture of a culture that preserved its sacred history through song and story.
