The Message Beneath the Noise
What Yeshua Was Really Trying to Say
Most of us grew up hearing about Jesus the way the church packaged him: a sacrificial lamb, born to die for our sins, so we could escape hell and go to heaven someday. Say the prayer, go to church, follow the rules, and you’re good.
But that version? That ain't the original broadcast.
When you strip away the layers of fear, control, and centuries of religious editing, what you're left with is something far more powerful—and far more personal. Yeshua’s true message wasn’t about religion. It was about remembrance.
Let’s break it down.
🗝 “The Kingdom is Within You”
In the Gospel of Thomas, one of the earliest and most mystical collections of Yeshua’s sayings, he says this:
“If those who lead you say, ‘See, the kingdom is in the sky,’ then the birds of the sky will precede you... But the kingdom is within you and it is outside of you.”
— Thomas 3
That right there flips the entire church model on its head.
He wasn’t preaching about some distant heaven you earn after death. He was saying the Divine—God, Source, whatever you call it—is already inside you. It’s encoded into your very being. Your soul isn’t broken and in need of saving. It’s forgotten who it really is.
Yeshua came to wake us up to that.
🪞 You Are Not Just Flesh and Bone
In the modern Western mindset, you are your body. Maybe with a soul buried somewhere inside. But in the Gnostic view, it’s the other way around.
Your true self is eternal. A spark of Divine consciousness. This body? Temporary. A vehicle. And the suffering we experience often comes from believing we are only this body, only these thoughts, only this life.
Yeshua didn’t say “worship me.”
He said: Know yourself.
“When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father.”
— Thomas 3 (continued)
🔥 The Church Made It About Belief. Yeshua Made It About Awareness.
The institutional church made it simple: believe the right things, or else. But Yeshua never said, “Believe in my death.” He said things like:
“Be passersby.”
— Thomas 42
He wanted us to detach from the illusions of this world—not in a nihilistic way, but in a wise way. To see that most of what we chase—status, money, fear of death—is smoke.
He taught that truth is hidden in plain sight. That wisdom comes from turning inward. That the kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, because…
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
— Luke 17:21
Funny how that part doesn’t get much airtime on Sunday mornings.
☀️ So What Was His Real Mission?
To remind us of who we are.
To show us that the Divine is not a being in the sky—but a presence we carry.
To help us remember that we’re not sinners needing rescue—we’re beings of light, waking up from a long sleep.
Yeshua didn’t come to start a religion. He came to dismantle the illusion that separates us from Source. And he paid the ultimate price for speaking truth to power.
But guess what?
That message didn’t die. It just went underground.
✨ The Invitation is Still Open
You don’t need a priest, a pulpit, or a Bible degree to access the truth Yeshua taught. You just need the courage to go within. To peel back the conditioning and remember who you are.
The kingdom isn’t coming.
It’s already here.
And it’s calling from inside the house.

The way you explain things makes it all make sense! It makes my heart happy & it’s helping to take years of fear away, I’ve always felt no matter how honest, kind to others, helpful to those in need, just trying always to live a good life, I’ve never been sure I would ever be able to make it to heaven the way it was taught to me. No way I could possibly make it. Today I’m seeing things in a different light. My heart is happier.
Thank you again for all of your wisdom that you share!
I feel like I have a friend for life in you!
Have a beautiful day!
